Enjoy blackberries and plums for pudding aswell as adding aubergines and courgettes to stews and sauces to give a rich taste.

Its time for you to turn soft fruit into jams and sauces to enjoy for winter. You can choose your favourite pickle or relish recipe and make it using some summer veg.

Monkfish and oysters are good seafood choices for this month. Curry powder works well with pumpkin or butternut squash to make a tasty warming soup as it gets colder.

But don't forget the good old favourites, some sort of chocolate drink to make the season sweeter.
